The Higoi is one of the longest established Japanese Restaurants out side of London.
Opened in 1989 by Mr. Kato, owner and head chef.
A fully trained Japanese chef, Mr Kato is familiar with every aspect of truly authentic Japanese cuisine. He left Japan in 1986, firmly establishing himself in England before opening his own restaurant in the same year. Higoi is the only truly authentic Japanese Restaurant in Nottingham, offering probably one of the best menu's in England.
We offer a comprehensive assortment of all traditional Japanese food prepared in a truly authentic way.
